I have to say, in the midst of this wicked Dow Jones dive I am
really happy with my two precious metals ETF’s, ticker symbols IAU and SLV. While everything else is tanking, these have been gaining ground.
She’s a natural born Canadian!I wonder why it is not Constitutional that Supreme Court justices be natural born citizens?
Oh wait, even if it did, that silly piece of paper doesn’t matter anymore does it?We just got an Indonesian/Kenyan for prez that has yet to show his real birth certificate.
Man I hope that Supreme Court case pulls through and gets him charged with something criminal. We’ll know more after Dec 1.
I think Arnold is going to get tapped for a cabinet position also.Something in the environmental arena.East of Newaygo, Baby!
And Rahm Emanuel, who was the mastermind behind the Clinton gun ban, just got tapped for Chief of Staff.
Hang on to your shorts folks! (And your Bibles and your guns)
Wow. This is nuts.. One of the press backed candidates for president may or may not meet one of the Constitutional qualifications to serve as President. I know, it sounds nuts. Here we are 6 days from the election, and one of the two “big” guys may not be a “natural born citizen”.
There are at least 8 lawsuits in as many states demanding proof in the form of a birth certificate showing a stateside birth. One candidate has already shown his last summer when folks thought that being born in Panama made him ineligible. Turns out, both his parents were American citizens, so he could have been born in Outer Mongolia and he would still be an American. The other guy’s folks weren’t married at the time, so where he was born matters.
What’s hinky about the whole thing is that he has refused to prove his citizenship by just showing his Hawaiian birth certificate. Why not? I could show you mine in 10 minutes. Instead, one judge threw out the case because the plaintiff lacked the standing to bring the case. As if an American is not worthy to care if the guy who will probably win in a landslide is really an American. Crazy. Since then the governor of Hawaii has locked down any birth records of his until after the election.
Here’s where I am at. I have contacted the Michigan Secretary of State asking for the proof that they had that this candidate was Constitutionally eligible to be on the Michigan ballot. The SOS told me that they basically took the word of the political party that nominated the candidates. They also referred me to a state law on the books describing said arrangement. (MCL 168.686) Now I have another email in to the SOS to figure out who ultimately has to prove that the candidates are actually citizens.
Let me introduce myself. My name is Jason and I’m a die hard conservative. I grew up in the Scouting program, so I’ve always had great respect for my country. I consider myself a not-so-quiet patriot. Ever since the 2004 election, my Jeep has been plastered with rightwing political stickers, mainly surrounding the 2nd amendment and the events surrounding 9/11/2001. My voting record was predominantly Republican, as I thought the Republicans were the only ones that had a clue. I thought they stood for small government, less taxes, moral compass, etc.. I was wrong.
In the last six months or so, it has become apparent to me that the word conservative is not to be confused with Republican. Six months ago, yes, I would have classified myself as a GOP’er, but not since Ron Paul did not make the nomination. I supported Paul because he had never voted for anything that was not explicitly stated in the Constitution. During the primary season I was appalled to find most self-proclaimed Republicans blew Ron Paul off as a quack.
So, I bailed on the GOP and now I am a supporter of Chuck Baldwin of the Constitution Party for President in next month’s election.
